How to Remove On Special Printer

Today, customers who came to my shop is quite unique. He asked me to fix the printer, turn the printer on barriers that means he has a bit complex, which is that the way he wanted him back as usual.

Canon printer type is the old type, PIXMA iP 1000. to be a bit problematic, namely, how to turn it must go through several steps, like this:

1. The printer must be ensured not by electricity, meaning that all the cables that connect the printer (power cable and a data cable) must be dislodged.

2. To turn it on, press the power button, then connect the power cable without releasing the power button (connect the cable while pressing the power button and do not be removed).

3. Still pressing the power button but the power is connected, press the resume button 3 times, then release all the buttons and let the printer on and cartridge move.

4. Power light and resume light will flash alternately, as a damaged cartridge.

5. Unplug / disconnect the power, without pressing the power button. (So unplug the power on the cable company, not the printer is turned off first).

6. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as much as 3 times.
7. New printer can flame correctly.

Is this way is very complicated ....?
I myself was hard to remember the steps, if not written.
Even cartridges first I thought it was broken, and I have tried replacing the cartridge with a good cartridge. But still when I turn on the printer normally, that is pressing the power button, the lights flash alternately as printer cartridges damaged.

After I went through those steps, new printers can flame correctly.
To correct this condition, or restore the "on" position to default conditions, so as to turn the printer simply press the power button, it turns out the way is not so difficult.

There are two ways that we can use to fix it.
1. with Hardware. The point we change the bios printers, have plenty to discuss in this way. but I highly do not recommend this way, the risk of death at worst printer.
2. with Software. it is relatively safe. You can use software resetter canon

To fix the printer before you can use Canon resetter service tool v129 or general tool for xp ver 1.01.
The steps are similar to reset the printer when blinking. Here is a way that we can take:
1. Driver must already installed.
2. The printer must be service mode (temporary reset), although sometimes this can be bypassed.

To activate the service mode:
* Unplug the AC power cord
* Press the power (on the printer)
* Plug electric power (light is green)
* While holding down the power press the reset button (light turns orange)
* Remove the two (the printer off)
* Press the power button again and immediately release. (Light is green) (do not unplug the power plant)

3. Run Resetter canon with screen.exe double click. There are many blogs that provide resetter, please download first.
4. Follow as shown below
5. Disconnect electric power, plug back in and turn (initial printer / ill wait till the light flashes. Done.
In this way, we can use to fix the blinking printer.
